Make my Music Yours.

I first discovered my passion for music when I began playing percussion in middle school. I loved how different each of the instruments sounded, how creative I could be with them. And despite what some might tell you, I loved how powerful percussion was in setting the atmosphere of a piece.

I then fell in love with accompaniments. Not just in classical pieces. I mean pop songs, film scores, and video game / anime soundtracks. To me, the best part of any music is not the melody, but rather everything else. It's those delicate marimba notes or bass chords in the background that convey something bittersweet or nostalgic or free — the melody rarely feels magical on its own.

And that's why I find the piano to be really special. You, as a single musician, can play both the melody and the accompaniment. You can tell the whole story. And that's my challenge here. I want to write every emotion into this instrument for you all to play. So with that, let's make some music!
